New April 2026

Skills arrive. Plans get sharper. Amazon data goes deeper.

April introduces Skills in DataLab, a clearer planning step for complex asks, and richer Amazon tooling—plus smoother signup and report exports.

Skills in DataLab

Skills land as a first-class way to run repeatable analysis in DataLab. Browse built-in skills from Quick Start, open them from the “+” menu, edit details in place, and give skills custom icons so the ones your team relies on are easy to spot.

You can also tune how a skill kicks off with custom invocation prompts—so the first message matches the workflow you actually want.

  • Edit without friction Jump into edits from the skill modal when something needs a tweak.
  • Admin-managed categories Keep skill categories organized as your library grows.

A planning step before the deep dive

DataLab can plan before it researches—so complex asks get structured instead of diving straight into a long run. Clearer error messages help when something blocks progress, and the agent is better about prompting you to connect or upload data when a chart request needs it.

More Amazon data at your fingertips

Keepa and Rainforest tools expand what you can ask about Amazon products and markets—without leaving DataLab. Tool labels are clearer too, so “Amazon Data” and “Amazon Real-Time Data” read the way you’d expect in the mention menu.

  • Keepa tools Pull richer product and marketplace signals into your analysis.
  • Rainforest tools Add another live Amazon data path alongside your existing sources.

Invite people to products—and ship richer reports

Product invitations make it easier to share access with the right people. Reports get stacked bar charts, better currency formatting on charts, and HTML downloads that hold layout better than PDF exports did.

Easier signup, clearer pricing

Getting into DataLab is simpler: fewer fork-in-the-road signup steps, a resend button when magic links go missing, and Team plan pricing at $20/mo. MCP gains more Alkemi tools—including the ability to run skills—so the same workflows travel into your connected clients.
